A strong low-pressure system passing north of New England, combined with high-pressure to the south of New England, is generating a warm to hot breeze for our Sunday.

It’s been three weeks since our last 80°+ day.

We start off sun-filled on Saturday before clouds move in from the west along with a chance for a spotty shower/storm by the afternoon after daytime heating.

An area of low pressure will trigger the development of showers and a few thunderstorms across New England throughout the day.

Dodging some drops on Friday, but the heat resumes this weekend. Heat wave is possible for some.
