According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Lakers have waived Quincy Olivari.

Undrafted out of Xavier, Olivari played well enough during the preseason to earn a two-way contract with the Lakers. The rookie guard spent most of his time in the G League, appearing in just two NBA games. According to Scotto, there is expected to be interest in Olivari once he clears waivers. On Wednesday evening, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the Lakers are signing center Trey Jemison to a two-way contract.
Isaiah Hartenstein

OKC Center #55

Isaiah Hartenstein (left soleus strain) will miss approximately one week.

Hartenstein suffered the injury during Tuesday’s game against the 76ers. The 26-year-old center will miss approximately one week, at which point he’ll be re-evaluated. Jalen Williams will likely be called on for more rebounding as he was earlier this season when Hartenstein was out.
Tyrese Maxey

PHI Point Guard #0

Tyrese Maxey (left hand sprain) has been cleared to play against the Knicks on Wednesday.

Maxey will be back after a one-game absence, which means that Reggie Jackson and Jeff Dowtin won’t be worth streaming. Maxey will be asked to do a lot with Joel Embiid out again, and Paul George (ankle) is still questionable.
Jericho Sims

Jericho Sims (lower back spasms) has been upgraded to available for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.

As expected, Sims will be good to go. He’ll split the minutes at center with Precious Achiuwa, with Achiuwa being the better streaming option with Karl-Anthony Towns sidelined.

Bronny James (illness) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.

James’ absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not in the Lakers’ rotation when healthy.

Ty Jerome (illness) is questionable to play against Oklahoma City on Thursday.

Jerome has missed their last two games, but he may be back in the lineup for this one. Caris LeVert has been the primary playmaker off the bench recently, but he will lose out on a few minutes if Jerome is back.

Jericho Sims (lower back spasms) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday’s matchup with Philadelphia.

Sims was initially listed as questionable, but he is now on pace to play in this game. Karl-Anthony Towns is out, so Sims and Precious Achiuwa will split the minutes at center, though Achiuwa will be the safer streaming option.
Bradley Beal

PHX Shooting Guard #3

Bradley Beal (left ankle sprain) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against Washington.

Beal injured his ankle during Tuesday’s loss to the Hawks. While he said after the defeat that the ankle wasn’t a serious issue, Beal likely won’t play on Thursday. His absence would free up opportunities for Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale, who would be worth streaming in deep leagues.
Aaron Nesmith

Aaron Nesmith (sprained left ankle) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.

Nesmith, who last played on November 1, is closing in on a return to game action. Bennedict Mathurin has played well as his replacement in the starting lineup, potentially doing enough to hold onto the job even after Nesmith is cleared to play without any restrictions. Over the long haul, Ben Sheppard stands to take a more significant hit than Mathurin in terms of fantasy value.
Tyrese Haliburton

IND Point Guard #0

Tyrese Haliburton (mild left groin strain) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.

Haliburton missed Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers with a groin injury, though the team officially labeled it a “mild strain.” That terminology could be considered encouraging and it’s possible that the 24-year-old point guard won’t miss anymore games. If he’s out again Thursday, Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell will both see extra minutes and playmaking responsibilities against the Pistons.
