Police have identified 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, as the suspected shooter who killed a teacher and a student.
Before his arrest this week in the killing of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO, Mangione’s family desperately tried to find him, reaching out to former classmates and posting queries on social media.
Luigi Mangione, 26, was arrested in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on weapons charges, the NYPD commissioner said. Officials expect charges to be filed in New York soon.
"I don’t know details. I just know that he said there were some people that had been threatening him," Thompson's wife told NBC News after he was fatally shot in New York City.
