The LINGUIST List will be on holiday recess from Monday, December 17, 2018 until Thursday, January 3, 2019. During this time, with the exception of emergencies, issues might be posted on an irregular basis. Although the website is available, some pages may not be updated during that time. Except for emergencies, we cannot promise to process submissions that we receive after December 17 in a timely manner until after we return on January 3, 2019.

The LINGUIST List has created an online internships registry, enabling researchers and institutions to announce paid or unpaid internships available specifically for linguists. Announce an internship if you're looking for a student intern to perform linguistic research tasks, like annotation, transcription, archiving, the creation of educational materials, etc. Or, if you're a student looking for an internship, browse our active listings.

The LINGUIST List does not investigate internships or submitters. We cannot take responsibility for the quality of internships announced on our website.
