About meNative German who spent a year in Sweden and four in the US - back in Germany as of July 2010.

I loved living in Stockholm/ Sweden (2002-2003) and liked Virginia (2006-2008) fine, but Texas (2008-2010) is just not for me. I missed having 4 seasons. It is very unlikely that I could ever get used to the over-sized cockroaches, YUCK. Or the "cool" 35C/ 95F humid summer mornings.

Now, being back home, I miss my friends from abroad, the easy way of living in the States, the wonderful university libraries and TexMex food.

About my libraryI add the books I read for entertainment - no work related ones.

The tag "Vor LT" marks the books I read before joining LT. The older ones from the nineties neither had an evaluation nor a read date, but I found it fun to add them - nice to see how my book taste evolved. Later, I recorded only the month I finished reading each book, so the read date is the last day of that month.
