Lisa and Laura Roecker, authors of The Liar Society, will celebrate the release of their second book, The Lies That Bind, on Thursday, November 8 from 7-9 PM at The Lake Forest Country Club. As a part of Sourcebooks Get Real Tour, the Roecker sisters are traveling cross country with fellow YA authors Janet Gurtler and Miranda Kenneally. The event is open to everyone; with giveaways, Twizzlers, bracelets and fun, this will be a night you won't want to miss!

In The Lies That Bind, a classmate has gone missing, and Kate Lowry soon realizes that the disappearance is tied to the secret societies that rule her private school, Pemberly Brown. Her best friend died for their secrets, and there's no way she'll let them get away with it twice. It's up to quirky outsider Kate to get some answers. But in a school where every answer leads to more questions and nothing's as it seems, whom can she trust?

Lisa and Laura Roecker are sisters-turned-writing-partners with a love of all things Young Adult. Some call it arrested development, but the sisters claim it keeps them young. Plus, it’s cheaper than Botox. Lisa and Laura live in Cleveland in separate residences. Their husbands wouldn't agree to a duplex. Lisa and Laura are graduates of Solon High School.

RITA® Finalist Janet Gurtler lives in Calgary, Alberta, near the Canadian Rockies, with her husband and son and a chubby Chihuahua named Bruce. She does not live in an igloo or play hockey, but she does love maple syrup and says "eh" a lot. She is currently promoting her book Who I Kissed. Growing up in Tennessee, Miranda Kenneally dreamed of becoming an Atlanta Brave, a country singer (cliché!), or a UN interpreter. Instead she writes, and works for the State Department in Washington, D.C., where George W. Bush once used her shoulder as an armrest. Miranda loves Twitter, Star Trek and her husband. She is currently promoting her book Stealing Parker.
