"Little" is a collection of re-imagined pop culture characters when they were kids - printed in a collectible art book. The book will have mostly black and white drawings sprinkled with red accent colors for characters that begged for extra TLC. I've been working on these pop culture characters for about eighteen months on and off. At first it was just for fun but then it grew into and obsession. After tabling at a hand full of "Cons" and selling hundreds of them - I realized I had to put them in this book.
If we reach $25k I'm going to have all 100 characters printed up into a 16" x 20" poster of "Little". I'll included it in each package from $40 pledge levels and up. It will be folded and fit in with your book(s) and prints like the posters we used to get in magazines back in the day.
I'm still working on the characters so I'll post updates after the KS is over with new drawings in place of the question marks.
If you are pledged at a lower level you can always manage your pledge to a higher level to get the poster if you want it.
This will be my bestest and final stretch goal!. To say thank you to everyone who pledged at the physical reward levels I decided to include these three 8x10 prints in EVERY order if we reach $35K! I'm going to need your help to get the word out - I know we can do it!

I've been illustrating all my life and eventually became a freelance children's book illustrator. I took my passion for creating children's art to the world of pop culture characters.
This book will have 120 pages complete with all 100 characters and quotes from each character on the opposite pages. I'll also include rejected ideas, process sketches, and a bit about how I created these images on the iPad Pro and on my Wacom Cintiq monitor.
Below are characters that will appear in the book as well as on prints for some of the reward levels.
Each illustration was drawn at 11x14 at 300dpi so there is a lot of detail reflected in each print.
All of my prints are on high quality acid free heavy print stock and all of them fit standard frame sizes: 8x10, 11x14, 18x24. Below is the Star poster framed by my local frame store.
I will be updating this kickstarter as I complete new characters to reach the finish line of 100 characters total.

Risks and challenges
I really don't see any problems in finishing this book if successfully funded. I have the printer which is only a few miles from my house. I have their cost quote and I have the designer's price quote. The only thing up in the air is finishing the last 25 characters. But by the time you're reading this I'm probably finished with about 80 characters. Since I'm self employed I can arrange my schedule to permit me to finish the final characters on schedule. I'm a deadline oriented person so once funded I'll map out a regular schedule of 8 characters/month. I have a print goal for the end of July. Once funded I'll schedule it with my printer and share it in a Kickstarter update.
I plan to hire assistants to help me package and ship all of the books after we receive them from my printer.
