Kent's Summer Schools

Summer schools are offered at different levels, from secondary school through to PhD and early career researchers. You can study for interest, credit, professional training or as preparation for further learning. The summer schools are open to all unless otherwise specified although we do give an indication of the study level for guidance. The list below is regularly updated and we also have other part-time and short courses running throughout the year that you may be interested in.

Summer schools - earn credit

You can choose to join the Summer School for one, two or three courses from the following list, you can combine a Canterbury Summer School with a European Summer School at Paris or Brussels. See individual courses for more information.

Canterbury Summer Schools - English Language

Communication skills in English: Speaking, listening, reading and writing in a cultural context. Various levels.
Paris summer school - Critical Thinking

Paris - Critical Thinking

Critical Thinking in the Contemporary Academy: To proliferate and defend intellectual spaces. PhD and above level study.
