Audit certificate to be awarded at the 2019 conference of the project HRK-EXPERTISE Internationalisation

This evening in Berlin, seven universities will receive certificates for their strategic internationalisation. The basis for the awards is the HRK-Audit "Internationalisation of Universities,” which has been advising and certifying universities on this topic for the past ten years. The universities will be honoured during the opening ceremony of the conference “Internationalisation of teaching and learning: Practical experience from German universities” of the HRK-EXPERTISE Internationalisation project. HRK-President Peter-André Alt has once again shown solidarity with academic Dr Ahmadreza Djalali, who has been detained in Iran since 2016: “In an open letter, I have again urged the Iranian head of state to immediately release Dr Ahmadreza Djalali from custody in Tehran. I am deeply dismayed by reports that the academic, who has been detained since April 2016, has been temporarily transferred to an undisclosed location in a reported attempt to extract a confession from him.”More
