Yeah, we've got a lot of great fresh food and beer, but here are a few more reasons to visit our brewpub: weekly, monthly, and special events. Ever wondered what makes beer a lager or an ale? Are you curious why we’d name a beer after an infamous 1969 river fire? Well, as long as you don’t call us the “Mistake on the Lake,” we’ll divulge these stories (and probably a few more after the first pint) as we explore both brewing and history at our bi-monthly Beer School!

BREWMASTER'S DINNER

You may have heard of the farm to table movement, but when you brew beer, why not take it one step further? Each month our chefs craft a one-time menu, and our brewer carefully chooses a flight of seasonal and year-round beers to complement each specialty course. So, yes. Dreams do come true at Brewmaster's Dinner. Please note that November's dinner will be a special Lowcountry Boil menu.

GEEKS WHO DRINK TRIVIA

You bring the brains, we'll bring the beer. GLBC is proud to host Geeks Who Drink Pub Trivia every Tuesday from 8:00pm to 10:00pm in our Rockefeller Room. 1st and 2nd place winners will receive prizes (gift cards or merchandise). Gift cards will be awarded for bonus questions throughout the night. Full bar and food service available all night

PUBLIC BREWERY TOURS

Brewery tours are available on Fridays 1:00pm and on the hour from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and Saturdays on the hour from 1:00pm – 8:00pm. For $5 guests receive four 5 oz. beer samples of their choice and receive a full 60-minute tour of our production brewery. Tours meet in the Beer Symposium at 1951 West 26th Street, Suite 100, and guests should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to tour start times.

LIVE MUSIC MONDAY

Join us in the beer cellar or on our patio (weather permitting) for a relaxing evening of live music and delicious craft beer and food. We feature different musicians each month.

FIRKIN THURSDAY

Spend your Thursday evenings with Great Lakes Brewing Company for Firkin Thursday! Every week starting at 4:00pm in the Beer Cellar, GLBC will feature a special brew right out of the firkin! Maybe we'll dry-hop it, maybe we'll toss in some fresh fruit or herbs from Pint Size Farm. Any way we serve it, it's a one-night-only mystery beer affair. Please note: Details subject to change at any time. First come, first served. While supplies last. Available in GLBC Beer Cellar ONLY. Growlers are not available for the Firkin Thursday beer.
