The Skills to Succeed

The skills needed to raise funds for Republican organizations and Republican candidates continue to expand and become more complicated each and every year. Curriculum includes fundraising events, major donors, finance committees, legal compliance, telemarketing, direct mail, and using data to analyze fundraising performance. Attendees tend to include State Party finance staff, campaign finance staff, executive staff who are directly involved in fundraising, and political operatives who want to attain a new specialization in fundraising.

Campaign Management College (CMC) is the testing ground for campaign managers assigned to targeted congressional- and state-level campaigns and senior state party directors. This course is designed to provide broad understanding of campaign strategies - augmented with a focus on data and analytics - and to simulate the tactical decisions the manager could face in the field. Considered an essential training ground for generations of political talent, the CMC has been modernized to give future managers the tools to be competitive in the 2016 cycle and beyond.
