Hey! If you know me, you likely know about three of my best friends - Becky Albertalli, Jasmine Warga, David Arnold - too because I can't STFU about how awesome they are. We talk about Life, Oreos, books we're writing, books we're reading, and we'd actually like to talk about some of these books we're reading with YOU. Some book clubs are focused on checking out what's the hubbub on the latest...

More of Adam's books…
“Memories: some can be sucker punching, others carry you forward; some stay with you forever, others you forget on your own. You can't really know which ones you'll survive if you don't stay on the battlefield, bad times shooting at you like bullets. But if you're lucky, you'll have plenty of good times to shield you.”
Adam Silvera, More Happy Than Not

“The boy with no direction taught me something unforgettable: happiness comes again if you let it.”
Adam Silvera, More Happy Than Not

“I've become this happiness scavenger who picks away at the ugliness of the world, because if there's happiness tucked away in my tragedies, I'll find it no matter what. If the blind can find joy in music, and the deaf can discover it with colors, I will do my best to always find the sun in the darkness because my life isn't one sad ending—it's a series of endless happy beginnings.”

Topics Mentioning This Author

“The most important reason for going from one place to another is to see what's in between.”
Norton Juster, The Phantom Tollbooth

“Have you ever heard the wonderful silence just before the dawn? Or the quiet and calm just as a storm ends? Or perhaps you know the silence when you haven't the answer to a question you've been asked, or the hush of a country road at night, or the expectant pause of a room full of people when someone is just about to speak, or, most beautiful of all, the moment after the door closes and you're alone in the whole house? Each one is different, you know, and all very beautiful if you listen carefully.”
Norton Juster, The Phantom Tollbooth

“Why are some things easier to write than say?”
Ally Condie, Matched

“You are like nobody since I love you.”
Pablo Neruda

“But I will say this: When the scientists of the future show up at my house with robot eyes and they tell me to try them on, I will tell the scientists to screw off, because I do not want to see a world without him.”
John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

Anya Thank you for the add, Adam! Your book made me cry like a demented idiot, so thank you very much for that, I suppose. It was brutal. (And beautiful) :')

Thomas Thank you for the friend request, Adam! I definitely felt like I recognized your picture before reading More Happy Than Not, but it is so cool to see a successful developing YA superstar like yourself. I am really #obsessed with your debut and would love to hear more about it at some point. However, until then, I cannot wait for History Is All You Left Me (where even more fanboying will ensue. :)
