-DARY!! This book is going to be legendary! I can feel it in my bones. PVB has created an amazing world and filled it with characters we are in awe of. At least when we're not trying to kill them. Or when Brett isn't killing them...Yeah I said it.
Every novel so far has been orders of magnitude better than the last. So this final one will be like...Batman doing the fusion dance with Captain America whilst both are Super Saiyan 36, being watched by Dumbledore wearing the One Ring.

Why is it a three year cycle between books. By the time the next one comes out in 2015, we have to wait 3 years for book 5. As great of a series these are, I will move on.
I can't wait that long!!! :'(

The following is a response to previously posted "reviews" and has nothing to do with the book itself.
Some authors write very quickly, some write very carefully. Some authors have family, and a life outside of writing. Some authors' fans have got it in their head that they are owed something more than a book, when it is released, that they have paid for. Allow me to disabuse you of that notion.

Peter, I was recommended "The Warded Man" by a friend last month and so I immediately bought the first 4 books. I just finished reading "The Skull Throne" and I'm glad I have the novellas to hold me over for maybe a month if I savor the Arlen adventures. I'm hooked and I've gotten my woman hooked and few others as well.

After over crowding the series with too many 1 dimensional secondary characters I will be reading this book only because I started. The death of Rojer, to reduce the over crowding, but keeping "Mud boy" as well as all the others has ruined this series that I loved so much. Can't wait for it to be over.
Don't get me wrong, I love books with lot of different characters and where not everyone is safe etc but killing Rojer was a bad move.
