Don't you just hate it when you're on a roll with a series and then you find out you have to wait SO LONG to get the next book????
PS: Death kicks Faerie ass!!!!!
Just heard that the release has been cancelled yet AGAIN...

So now i have to conclude..

Hi All. If you check the author's blog she has been dealing with some personal issues. It is obviously someting very major and something she does not want to disclose and I don't blame her. Due to the fact she put this out there people please stop being so angry. I am dying to read this next book as well but am willing to wait because the author obviously has something very serious going on and I think we can all agree we want her to come throught what ever it is happy and healthy and ready to

Daaammmit. Now I've gotta wait a month for this to come out and I'm almost done with the third one. I neeeed this. NEED IT. NEED.

Give it to me

I hate it when I'm reading an awesome series and I have to wait for the next book to come out. Its pure torture.

P.S: If Death & Alex don't get together in this book I will have a rage induced hemorrhage.
Oh and Falin?

I still don't like you.

I am rooting for Death. I really hope she would end up with him. Their sacrifices are really sweet. I wish its August tomorrow.

I need me some Death. He is sooo amazing I like him way better than fairy boy ;)
After FOUR YEARS of waiting, FOUR LONG YEARS, I've finally got my hands on this highly anticipated book (FOUR YEARS everyone?)
I would have given it 5* if it wasn't for Alex's constant indecision and bad choices. It's the fourth installment in the series and I would have thought that, now, she'd at least try to choose a path, not just linger in there. But the book did meet my expectations in all the other aspects and oh! How I missed these awesome mysteries that only Kalayna can create!

A buddy read with my friends at the MacHalos:-)
After all the waiting, we finally got our continuation of the Grave series! What is bad about letting so much time elapse is that people grow distant from the characters... In order not to feel like strangers with Alex and her Fae, the MacHalo Freaks did a re-read of the previous 3 books just on time for the release of the 4th one. This definitely helped and it was easy to get back into the world of humans, Fae and magic coexisting in al ...more

Waiting is hard. And it's tempting to give up on a series when you have to wait a long time between installments, especially if you don't have a concrete date for your patience to payoff. Trust me when I tell you that you don't want to write off this series just because it's been a while since the last book. If you enjoyed the first three Alex Craft books, you going to love this one too. It picks up seamlessly where Grave Memory left off. And once I returned to this world, it felt like I never l

-Didn't enjoy the investigation-of-the-week story, it was predictable and obvious from the start who was behind it all. There was no suspense or mystery whatsoever, I was just waiting and waiting for the main characters to work out what was staring them right in the face, but they never did, someone else had to point it out to them.

It has been four years since I read the last book of the series and I was really concerned that I would be lost if I didn't reread but I decided to give it a go anyway. Luckily, K.P. does a really good job of recapping and bringing you back up to speed.
Alex is still her amazing self trying to be there for her friends, working her business and raising shades and at the same time trying to deal with her Fae side. Things only get worse when she finds out that she is she is fading. She ha ...more

I loved this series!

I can't believe there are no more books! Gah, I'm so damn curious about what will happen next, not fair that it all ended here.
There are not a lot of series that keep me hooked up for more than the first 2, 3 books, so I'm really happy when I find one that does. All I can say is... Where is the next one?! I want more!

Why did they have to change the publication date? Or did I just imagine it to be August 6th? I got so excited today because i remembered that it SHOULD HAVE BEEN out by now and now having to have read the publication update? I hate the world.

Ultimately, the long wait between books and the publishers lack of effort in reminding us about this book was the downfall. I couldn't remember who lots of people were, who their back story was and why I should care.
Knowing it was so many years between the books it would have been helpful for the author to give us a but more of a recap without being dumpy.

Seriously? 2015 March? C'mon! It's just rude now... I preordered it almost a year ago! Why don't we just put a far enough date on it, do we really have to change it every 3 or 4 months? Every time I feel happy that it will be finally published I have to realize that they postpone it again...
(I get that KP has some problems, I really do, but please then postpone it to 2020 or something because it's still better to get it earlier than postponing in every few months.)

It’s been a long time since I was expecting the release of this novel, and I must say that the wait was rather complicated when you consider that the date has been postponed several times. It was a long wait for GRAVE VISIONS, the fourth in the Alex Craft series. Was it worth it? Yes! It took awhile to get back into the world-memories of what happened in the previous books coming back slowly as the plot progressed. In GRAVE VISIONS Alex is in more trouble and this time it involves a lot more time in Faerie than she'd like. After waiting years, this did not disappoint although it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for either. Alex’s life was still a mess. There were serious complications with the two men in her life. Her relationship with her father was strained. Discovering she was fae made her life very complicated.

Teď jenom počkat rok do dalšího dílu.

Meh... 2.75, not quite a good book. It could have been great, it had a great story going with the Glitter and her illness. What made it loose its greatness is... Alex is an idiot pretty quickly.
I've now read 3 books and this is the 4th and she would never made the mistake with the Queen that she made in the deal. I immediately said no... that's not what she does, but she, who is a grave witch doesn't? (view spoiler) ...more

Normally this far into a series, I'd say something like "by this time in this series, you know what you're getting". I can't say that this time. Oh, there's a character named Alex and she has a hot boyfriend she calls Death and another runner-up she can't trust named Falin. But Price has robbed this Alex of her intelligence, wit, talent, and many of her secondary characters (because they're hiding out in Fairy so they don't die while Alex is "fading").

4.5 solid stars. A very good read. Whatever Price's personal issues were, it's great to know she can still put out a heck of a story. 'Alex Craft' is one of the better UF series being written right now; very imaginative, and with great wordbuilding.
