Prof. Naama Geva-Zatorsky (Fulbright Post-doctoral fellow 2011) for her research titled: "Deciphering host-gut microbiota spatio-functional plasticity in inflammation"
Dr. Yair Hartman (Fulbright Post-doctoral fellow 2015) for his research titles: "Random Walks on Groups, Commutative and Noncommutative Dynamics"
Dr. Hadas Soifer (Fulbright Post-doctoral fellow 2014) for her research titled: "Band-resolved imaging and nonlinear optical control of currents in topological materials"

The European Union has announced the recipients of its 2021 ERC Starting Grants, which include four Fulbright alumni: Prof. Nir Bitansky (Fulbright Doctoral fellow 2011), Dr. Shay Solomon (Fulbright Post-doctoral fellow 2016), Dr. Sivan Refaely-Abramson (Fulbright Post-doctoral fellow 2015) and Dr. Asaf Vivante (Fulbright Post-doctoral fellow 2013). Congratulations!

Dr. Sivan Refaely-Abramson is a Senior Scientist at the Department of Materials and Interfaces in the Faculty of Chemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Dr. Shay Solomon is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Asaf Vivante is a Physician in the Department of Pediatrics at Sheba Medical Center.

Fulbright Alumna, Dr. Rachel Sarig, among researchers who discover new species of human.
Israeli researchers, among them Dr. Rachel Sarig, 2007 Fulbright Doctoral Dissertation fellow at Cleveland Museum, currently Senior Lecturer at the Department of Oral Biology, School of Dental Medicine, Sackler Faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv University, have identified an unknown type of ancient human that lived more than 100,000 years ago, which they named the "Nesher Ramla Homo type".

Professor Mona-Khoury Kassabri, 2002 Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow and Dean of School of Social Work and Social Welfare at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, has been appointed VP of Strategy and Diversity. It's the first time an Arab woman will held a VP position at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Congratulations to Professor Zelig Eshhar on being awarded the 2021 Dan David Prize in Molecular Medicine.
