The Torch Centre has only been open a few months now and immediately it became part of my weekly life. Tefillin on sunday, classes on monday, I go there to use the wifi to study or even just hang out with my friends. It actually has a really cool lounge feel, like a club almost. Hopefully this marks a new beginning for Jewish community programming in Htown, because this place sets a standard.

Extensive library, lots of opportunities to learn Torah and dig deeper into other aspects of Judaism. Rabbi Arye Wolbe shares his knowledge enthusiastically and teaches unchanging Torah concepts in his accessible and life applicable method. I enjoy attending lectures and weekly events, and TORCH Centre also functions as a great place for self-study with a wealth of books on Torah, Talmud, and Halakha. Pretty quickly became my favorite place in Houston for warm, welcoming atmosphere, events, and amenities. Blazing Fast Wi-Fi and donation based coffee, drinks, snacks, and welcoming atmosphere.
