Last night's Diamond Rio concert is joining some of the more memorable shows ever. Setting that part of the experience aside because this is a review of the Gri...zzly Rose and not the concert, I have to say the Grizzly Rose is a great place for music and dancing.

What makes the place even better to me is their staff. The bartenders give fast friendly service and they all seem to have elephant-like memories. There were at least 72,000 people in the place, but they didn't fumble for anyone's checks.

Now let's talk about security. These guys have their work cut out for them. When you have a large group of people, there are going to be problems. Last night, there was a rude couple dancing and taking selfies all while bumping (and grinding) into other people. One woman took exception with that, as is understandable. The two couples quickly caught the attention of the security team who reacted to the situation perfectly. With the rude couple out of the way, the night was fantastic. Bravo, security team.

I went to the Grizzly Rose for the first time 6/16 to see the Sawyer Brown concert. We got there a little early and were pleasantly surprised at the ample parki...ng. We were greeted by security and my first impression was how friendly everyone was.
We enjoyed cheeseburgers and fries. They were delicious although the wait was VERY long. I was impressed with the amount and quality of food for $10. Again, the gentleman who took our order was super friendly.
Leaving, I noticed a lot of security at the door and outside. That made me feel very safe.

Went there on ladies night. Got a couple dances in and then the dance floor became a high school dance with 18 and 19 year olds standing on the floor looking at... their phones, talking and attempting to line dance. They line dance to every song, fast or slow, it doesn't matter. Only about 10 people in the club knew how to dance. Eventually the line dancers took over the floor and there was nowhere to dance. Time to leave. I would recommend this club to anyone who wants to two step. הצג עוד

Got there early for a concert which was supposed to start at 8....so many people in line for food and they tell you for anything other than a pulled pork sandwi...ch it will be over an hour. So fine, I order the pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, they immediately hand me a sandwich with regular fries - no bbq sauce and the bottom bun is now a pile of mush. So about 10 bucks for a pile of meat, one bun and the wrong fries. The opening band started late, and played so long (at least they were good) but the feature artist did not go on till 10....ugh is all I can say. הצג עוד

My wife wanted to go see Pardi at the Rose last Thursday. Since there were no tickets last several days on line we attempted to call your office. No one answers... the phone. How can you run a business and won't answer the phone for your customers? We tried at least ten times different times of the day. Thinking the concert was sold out we bought tickets on craigslist. Turned out they were fake and we were scammed. This is not your issue I understand that, BUT had you guys answered your phone we would have known there would have been tickets at the door and not risked craigslist. I visited last night for the Is this time after YEARS of hearing about Grizzly Rose I finally went for the Lonestar concert, what a blast!! I loved that while t...he place was busy, it wasn't packed or overcrowded even during a concert. Great venue for a concert if you want to get up close to the band! I appreciated that there were several bars around the venue so I think at most there was only ever one person in line ahead of me for drinks!
Also LOVE that they played many of the older country hits I grew up on and learned how to line dance to, and mixed in some of the new music. I m looking forward to my next visit! הצג עוד

I attended a concert on Thursday and was highly disappointed, not in the singer but in the Rose. We stood all night enjoying listening to the opening band and w...hen it came time for the main band we were pushed around by really rude people who pushed their way up and didn't care about anyone else. The back and the east side of the stage was apparently reserved while the other side had too many people trying to fit in the crowd. I know this is typical for concerts but very poorly distributed space. I won't attend a concert there again. EVER! הצג עוד

I went to see Pat Green last night at the Grizzly Rose and I love it there because it is a real Honky Tonk Bar!
Always great entertainment and a super friendly... staff!
The drinks and food are priced reasonably and the crowd is always really nice!
I also appreciate the fact that there is ample parking and an excellent security stuff on hand! הצג עוד

We travelled from the UK and encorporated a stay in Denver to allow us to visit ... what can I say but it has been an amazing weekend, the staff at the Rose wer...e polite and friendly, the music was fab overall well worth the 4.5k miles we travelled ... can't wait until our next trip across the pond 👍 הצג עוד

I've been going to the Grizzly Rose for years and always had fun. Tonight I went and was completely harassed by an overzealous security guard in the parking lot.... I was apparently going 10mph instead of 5mph and he got up in my face, was very agitated, and told me he was going to write me a ticket. He then proceeded to ask if I could pass a drug and alcohol test if he made me take one. I said yes. He asked me if I had any alcohol in my truck. Of course I didn't. He told me he could take me to court and he had jurisdiction outside the walls of the Rose. I had 5 friends and my little sister with me when this idiot completely overstepped his authority. He needs to be fired. I want to warn any females to steer clear of this little man with the big tattoo on his neck in the parking lot. The Rose needs to screen their security guards much more throughly. הצג עוד

I can't afford to see these artists in normal venues. I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for tickets in the nosebleed section. Here I can literally be wit...hin a few feet, actually talk to them. The bar isnhuge and affordable and drinks of all types are around $5 each and the food is good, too. Went to see Sawyer Brown and saw Ray Scott and the George Brothers also. The opening acts were good but Sawyer Brown was awesome! The food was good. The drink...s reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. (Showed us handicapped seating area which was next to the stage.) The other patrons there were helpful. My only complaint was that there was no wait service in the area. All in all a great time. הצג עוד

I havent had the pleasure of visiting this place yet but from everything I have heard from here,,,its a great place!! Cant wait to hopefully see Todd Freeman an...d Bullet Proof here..I will travel to come to see them perform..they put on an awesome show. Love the pool tables although the cues need some fixin... Love the dance floor... Need to carry outlaw whisky. Wish you weren't so far from my house but when you bring my favorite band I will drive the distance.

LOVE the Grizzly Rose! Their excellent DJ kept the place rockin' all night. Best dance floor EVER! Their live music is unbeatable! Security and Staff were p...leasant and easy to work with and kept a close eye the crowd. I felt right at home and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend checking it out. הצג עוד

Went to the Rose the other night with my mother and grandmother for a "girls night out." Lol we had an absolute blast. The band (Buckstein) was AMAZING and incr...edibly nice. The two female bartenders that were there were great.! The ONLY downside was the food wasn't that good, but I mean what do you expect from bar food. Lol the guy that took our order was extremely nice as well though, so that made up for the food. Will definitely be back for more fun. הצג עוד

Best place in Denver to get your "Country On" at!
I've even taken my 70yr old Grammie a few times & she had a blast!
It's an awesome place for every age. You also don't even have to really know how to dance, you can just hop in & follow someone's lead & dance all night!

Was an awesome experience to see Sam Riggs in concert. The gentleman running the Chuckwagon was such a nice guy, I sure appreciate him. Waitress was energetic and spunky, all in all a great experience to have.

Great concerts, & has a large dance floor so you can practice your dance moves for a while or just relax at table & listen to good country music also!

I have been coming to The Grizzly Rose since 1994!...I usually come for the concerts, national acts..love the fact that there is a coat check...but the bathrooms really need to be upgraded...
If you want a good country bar experience, this is the place to be!
