This is the first ever yelp review I have ever written, and it is to say how disappointed I was in Brennan's. Brennan's is a New Orleans classic and we expected nothing less than amazing food and service. For the prices, we expected a meal of a life time, but by the end of our meal, it just felt like I was being scammed.
We asked our waitress for recommendations and found it weird that she couldn't say what was her favorite. After 5 different disappointing entrees we realize...d why: nothing was freaking good. Portions too small. My father said he could have gotten his ribeye from the Golden Corral.
Waitress also didn't ask if we enjoyed our meal at the end and that's probably another give away. Waitress was dismissive and while telling the specials, abruptly said "I'll be right back" and left for 10 minutes. A very weird experience overall.
Bathrooms were disgusting. $313 later, we left the restaurant and the doorman wouldn't even hold the door. We overheard a comment from the couple ahead of us that it was the worst meal they had ever had. Glad we aren't the only ones.
I will say if you MUST go, the scallops weren't bad although you get only 3 and they were $19 each.

We felt Christmas will be the best if we can go to Brennan’s for brunch and we did not feel disappointed! The banana foster was the best of all the delicious dishes we had! Congratulations to all the employees and their service. Superb Christmas Day to you all!

My girlfriend and I were spending the day together in the French Quarter. We were wanting to have an amazing dinner. We both had heard the stories about Brennnan’s . But we had never gotten to go before. So we decided to go make a memory together. What a memorable experience it was! The food was the best you could ever hope for. And the service was unbelievable. Shawn, Joanna and the other 2 gentlemen who served us made us feel like we were the 2 most important people on the earth. Steak Diane and Bannanas Foster, wow! It would have been impossible to have a better experience! We can’t wait to go back. Shawn we will be asking for you!

Omg this is a must try! It is delish we were so hesitant about going after trying Antoine's ( that will be another review) thinking it was another tourist trap.
From the minute you walk in the staff is incredible, if you are there for an occasion they put a ribbon on your table depending on the occasion the color changes.
Our sever John was incredible the best service we have probably ever had anywhere.
Food was so good and the bananas foster is what they invented is really good.
We will definitely return if we ever come back to NOLA.
