My Bright Corner

I have always loved to create and once I got my hands on a sewing machine at a young age I never looked back. My quilt studio is in a quiet basement corner of my home that gets lovely, warm, afternoon sunshine.

I love every aspect of the work that goes into making a quilt - from designing the pattern, choosing the fabrics, piecing, quilting and binding. Pattern design brings together my creative side and my computer-savvy side.

I believe there is great value in handmade items. In today's world of factory-built imported goods, a lovely, personalized handmade item can bring personality and beauty to our lives.

I believe that quilts should be used and loved. I also believe in one-of-a-kind quilts. I put the utmost care and craftsmanship into each unique quilt so that it can withstand years and years of love and use. It is so rewarding to receive photos of happy customers enjoying their quilts!
