Jewelry and Cards for the Nature Lover
Bay Moon Design was born to make people have fun with jewelry and cards that bring nature and fun back into your life. All my jewelry creations are drawn from influences found in nature, and each piece is designed to be comfortable and fun to wear. My cards often co-ordinate with my jewelry. My favorite cards to make are wedding cards. Such a joyous occasion to celebrate with a special card.
At the core of Bay Moon Design is quality, sustainability and supporting local exchanges. I buy locally when possible. I try to use materials from nature, along with locally sourced, eco friendly supplies. I love to use handmade components that I make or components made by other artisans. Ceramics are a favorite that I frequently use in my jewelry. I reuse packing envelopes when shipping. Craft shows that I participate in are all local. I donate jewelry or cards to local charities. Everything is one of a kind or produced in small batches to preserve the fun of wearing something unique.
A few words about the name Bay Moon Design :
Bay comes from the Delaware Bay which is where I have been fortunate to live and raise my family for over 30 years. Moon reflects my love of nature and Design refers to my creativity.

I grew up loving to make things. I learned to knit, crochet, and draw as a child. I spent a lot of time outdoors hiking as a child. As an adult I started to build on these skills and interests by creating jewelry and cards influenced by nature.

"REVIEWS/FEEDBACK: Etsy has recently replaced its existing Feedback system with a `Review' option based on a star rating. Buyers have a certain timeframe in which they are able to leave a review, and in conjunction with this function the Etsy system will send out "reminders" if a review has not been left. Baymoondesign considers reminders of this nature to be intrusive and would like to assure all buyers that any "review reminder" emails or messages that they may receive from Etsy DO NOT originate from my shop. I hate being nagged just as much as you do! All orders can be upgraded to Priority Mail; please contact me for pricing before placing your order.
For international shipments, I will refund the excess charge if there is an excess. I will attempt to ship as cheaply as I can. If the shipment costs more than I charge I may have to cancel the order or offer you the option of paying for the extra amount through invoicing you through Paypal.
