Socionext Introduces 8K HEVC Real-Time Encoder Solution

Socionext Inc. introduces the industry's first 8K HEVC Real-Time Encoder Solution.  The solution was showcased at the InterBEE 2016 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. 52 kHz Simple 0.5 A Buck Regulator

The LM2574 is a 52kHz simple 0.5A buck regulator. It contains all the active circuitry necessary to construct a stepdown switching regulator and requires a minimum of external components. The LM2574 is available in 3.3V and 5V fixed output versions, or an adjustable version with an output voltage range of 1.23 V to 37 V.

Portable IMVP Single Phase Power Supply Controller

The SC4517EVB-1 is a portable IMVP-IV and IMVP-IV+ single phase power supply controller.  The device integrates the SC452 PowerStep IV™ IC, a single chip high-performance Hysteretic PWM controller.  The SC451 features extended Intel Mobile Voltage Positioning to increase battery life by reducing the voltage at the processor.

Improved Efficiency Current-Sense Amplifier

Texas Instruments announced the release of a new current-sense amplifier for in-line motor phase current measurement that improves overall motor efficiency, compared to existing current-sense amplifiers. The INA240 offers enhanced pulse-width modulation (PWM) rejection for systems running at up to 80 V to support a variety of applications such as motor control, solenoid control and power delivery systems.
