Uncontrollably Fond (Lightly, Ardently)

Kim Woo Bin (Heirs) and Suzy (Architecture 101, Gu Family Book) have sizzling chemistry in this romantic melodrama that has become one of the most eagerly anticipated K-dramas of 2016. Kim Woo Bin stars as the conceited Hallyu star Shin Joon Young. Suddenly separated at a young age from No Eul (Suzy), he’s grown into an arrogant superstar. No Eul in the meantime has grown up to become a scrappy television producer, jumping at any opportunity for money. The two are reunited as adults, and forced to work together in the hopes that No Eul can tame Joon Young's flippant attitude and get enough money to support her younger brother in the process. However nothing is as it seems, with too many secrets to count surrounding the duo's past and present, true love might just not be enough.
With Kim Woo Bin and Suzy's fascinating onscreen chemistry, Uncontrollably Fond has the perfect blend of drama and romance. Kim Woo Bin isn’t the only Heirs alumni in Uncontrollably Fond, though. Im Joo Eun returns as a wealthy heiress, joined by Im Joo Hwan (Oh My Ghostess) playing the second male lead as a powerful corporate executive.

Uncontrollably Fond is directed by Park Hyun Suk, who previously directed 2015’s Korean drama Spy and 2011’s The Princess’s Man. The drama was written by veteran screenwriter Lee Kyoung Hee, whose hit dramas include Nice Guy, Thank You, A Love to Kill and I’m Sorry, I Love You. Alternately known as "Lightly, Ardently", Uncontrollably Fond began filming on November 26th, 2015 at Kyungnam University in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam Province, South Korea. Filming finished on April 12, 2016. Uncontrollably Fond aired after the finale of Master: God of Noodles on KBS2. The series is comprised of 20 episodes and will conclude sometime in September, 2016.
