Frallmar's Lair!

Hey there, heroes!

The war is over, and you've all done so well! You managed to complete the war before we were ready with the final quest, and today, that quest is here.

The finale of The Snowpeak War is now available!

The waves of creatures and elementals have been destroyed, and all that remains is to take down Frallmar itself. Frallmar: the ancient, gargantuan, legendary foe of the Frost Moglins. Should be no problem, right?

You can choose to fight Frallmar on the back of your titan dragon, or on foot!

Will you be able to save the children of Frostval? Will you be able to put an end to the terror of the Frost moglins, and stop Frallmar? Or will you be frozen in your tracks?

The 2018 presents are also now available to be exchanged! You can swap your presents for Ancient Frost Moglin weapons. These powerful weapons have a chance on hit to lower the amount of healing your foe can do.

As a reminder, the DragonFable Frostval art contest comes to a close on Jan 11th!

Don't miss your chance to submit your own original Frostval themed art to win Dragon Coins and a place in the Libraseum in-game!

The Frostval Storybook will also be leaving for another year on January 11th, so get your loot and quests done while you still can!
Note: When the Frostval book returns, you will still be able to find and upgrade presents, but you wil no longer be able to earn defender medals from the war.
The Cocoaberry Juice food item will also become permanently available from Ruby the Adventure Chef once the book leaves.

Into the Snowpeak Woods!

Hey there, heroes!

As the Snowpeak War presses on, the tide of battle turns! The war has passed the 50% mark and is progressing quickly!

Frostvale has been safely defended, but now it's time to press the attack and take to fight to Frallmar. A new cutscene has been unlocked, a new enemy has been added to the war waves, and new war quests have been unlocked with the war progress!

Forward, into the Snowpeak Woods! Fight your way to Frallmar, and save the children of Frostvale!

While the Snowpeak War is in full effect, we thought some of you creatives out there in the AE community would like to also participate is an art contest! It sure has been a while since we've done one, eh?

The theme for the contest is: Frostval Celebrations!

You can draw/sculpt/sketch anything related to Frostval, whether it be what your hero does during this time of the year, the Moglins or other NPCs of Frostval, or even some beautiful snowy scenery! Or maybe... how some villains celebrate Frostval, when the hero is not trying to foil their plans? It's all up to your imagination!

The contest will last from today, December 18th, up until January 11th.
First place will get 3000 DC!
Second place, 1500 DC!
Third place, 500 DC!

There will also be runner ups and honorable mentions, and those will get 100 DC!

The winning pieces will also be displayed in the Libraseum gallery, in game!

For the entries, please use the hashtag #DragonFableFrostval on twitter. Please also include your character ID on the art piece or within the tweet.

So, take your pencils (pens/styluses/brushes/fingers/toes/noses/eyes/whatever you use to make art) in your hands and start thinking creatively!

Also, some fixes/changes!

• Grove Tender items are no longer destroyable or sellable.
• Eternal Epoch's Boost and Hex no longer carry across battles.

Frostval 2018 Art Contest!

Greetings Heroes!

While the Snowpeak War is in full effect, we thought some of you creatives out there in the AE community would like to also participate is an art contest! It sure has been a while since we've done one, eh?

Frallmar Rises!

Hey there, heroes!

Horrible news, heroes! The children of Frostvale have gone missing! If that's not enough, a massive beast now looms over the Snowpeak Woods- threatening Frostval and all of the moglins.

This can only mean one thing: War!

A word from Elryn:

Adventurers! Take up your sharpest, or bluntest, weapons, your most powerful, or whacky, armours and all your best and funniest potions and head to war because things are about to get real frosty and icey around Frostvale and it's not just the weather!

Other updates will come as the war progresses and ultimately culminates to the finale on December 28th.

Look forward to next week... if you can get the ball rolling on the war that is!

This month, there is a special prize to be won by answering three weekly riddles correctly on the game's official Facebook page (url: https://www.facebook.com/DragonFableGame)! Until December 25th, if you can answer three riddles correctly, you'll be put into a pool to draw for a special prize of 500 Dragon Coins to the lucky winner! Choose wisely though as edited answers won't count!

Azaveyran Challenges Complete!

Hey there, heroes!

The Azaveyran Challenges board at the Inn at the Edge of Time is now complete!

Head over to face two foes- "representatives" of the Magesterium and earn some awesome rewards!

First, face off against Magester Mislav- an ancient Magester (but definitely not the first). Beware his combination magics, and keep your wits about you!

Next, it's a race to destruction with Mana-Infused Roirr. Will you be able to destroy him before he overloads?

Defeating Magester Mislav will reward you with the Magi Guard helm, while defeating Roirr will reward you with the Magi Sentinel helm. Both have the same stats- just a different look!

If you can defeat both at once, as well as the Emperor of the Sea Chickens Extreme and Unraveler Extreme, you'll be able to earn your very own Magi Drone pet! This neat pet scales damage with your level, and also has a chance to reduce the amoutn foes heal by- amount reduced is increased with your CHA stat!

Good luck in the arena!

For the month of December, we also have available a new weapon set for Dragon Coins!

These awesome looking weapons swap between Fire and Ice element every hit, and have some extremely focused stats! These weapons will only be available this December, and we don't know if they will return or not, so get them while you can!

We've also done a lot of updates to the game in general.

• The character info screen has been updated with new colors for ease of viewing.
• A new "Simple Stat Info" option has been added.
  • This option replaces the base and modifier values of stats with their sum.
• A new "Seasonal Borders" option has been added.
  • This option allows you to select whether or not you want to have seasonal borders on your UI.
• Fixed a bug where un-equipped items still showed as equipped in your inventory until reloaded.
• Fixed a bug where scythe damage type only took into account base stats and not stat modifiers.
• Epoch has been added to the Armor Closet.
• Other small fixes!

November 2018 Reimagined

Hey there, heroes!

For November's Reimagined release, we have something a bit smaller than usual while Tomix is working hard on creating art for the new Corrupted Doom Epoch calendar class!

First off, the cemetery in the north-west of Book 3 Falconreach has finally opened its gates to the public! Head over and check out the gravestones for some possibly familiar names and some rather curious epitaphs.

Next up, we have a couple bits of Dragon Amulet exclusive content!

For Dragon Amulet holders, the Theater in Book 3 South Falconreach now has a fantastic green screen!

There are buttons to let you pose, change the color of the screen (green, blue, red, and white are available currently), as well as change your character's facial expressions!

Perfect for taking screenshots of your character!

Lastly, the Inn at the Edge of Time is proud to announce the launch of the Arbitrary Arena Random Goal Heuristic system (or A.A.R.G.H. for short)! This mysterious system lets you battle a random Inn challenge for the cost of 500 gold per attempt. Succeeding in an A.A.R.G.H. challenge will reward you with a Timewarped Medal. Collect these medals to exchange for some amazing exclusive prizes!

The A.A.R.G.H. system is also only available for Dragon Amulet holders.

To celebrate the holiday season, Dragon Coin packages (excluding Dragon Amulet or Doom Knight packages) will now give you 50% bonus Dragon Coins, until January 2nd! Over a month of bonus Dragon Coins! Wow!

The 2019 AE calendar is on sale now!

This year, if you purchase the calendar, you will receive a code for the Corrupted Doom Cassette artifact! This artifact will greatly boost the offensive burst potential of the Epoch class- when it's implemented in-game!

If you don't have the Epoch class yet, don't worry! If you do not have the Epoch class, you will also receive it with this year's calendar.
