A Hello and thank you.

Hello everyone,
While I am new to the forums, I am by no means new to planners. Although, I got away from paper in the late 90's when I got a Message pad 120 (Newton). The main reasons were my handwriting is terrible and I tend to move things around A LOT.
I recently came here for a a few forms (and a calendar) for a relative that is paper-only and didn't want to pay $25 for a refill calendar this year. I am very glad the site is still here and I wanted to thank everyone for all their time and effort. It is certainly appreciated.

Re: A Hello and thank you.
I'd been a Newton user too. (2100) and was thrilled with it until they broke my heart and cancelled it.
I went back to paper. Haven't looked back yet.
From a previous (externally) post I'd made:
No power failure or upgrade has rendered my previous work moot. ;)
The case/cover of my book is > 20yrs old and has been all around the world with me.
Welcome to the forums!
Want an eMate ?
I think I still have one or two.

Ha! No thanks! I'm getting started selling my Newton accessories.
If I bring another "thing" into the house, it has to be something I can sleep in. ;)
sorry to hear that
Sorry to hear you are getting rid of them. But then again if you aren't using them, I don't see the reason of keeping them. I would suggest the newton talk email list first. Lots of Newton users there ;)
And yes it was terrible when Jobs canceled it. There is still nothing close to a Newton. Hardware these days can run rings around it, but the software is buggy and not near as good. Not to mention not as nice to use. Or a month battery life on a set of 4 AA's instead of a battery that only lasts a day or two before needing a charge and is not easy to replace. Crazy huh?
