Culver’s top performing general managers are often just a step away from ownership. With the support of an existing franchisee who’s looking to expand, our Franchise Mentoring Program offers an opportunity for strong leaders to achieve partial ownership after one year of experience as a general manager.
Just up the road from the original Culver’s restaurant in Sauk City, Wisconsin, overlooking the scenic Wisconsin River, you’ll find Culver’s Home Office – which we refer to as the Support Center – and a team of professionals dedicated to the success of each and every one of our more than 550 restaurants.
Each year, Culver’s VIP Scholarship Program provides financial support to hundreds of team members as they work toward dreams of earning college or technical school degrees.
Scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,000 per individual, with many team members receiving scholarships in multiple years.
Culver’s Franchise Mentoring Program offers an excellent opportunity for top-performing general managers in our restaurants to take the next step and become a Culver’s owner-operator. To date, more than 50 Culver’s franchise owner-operators have taken advantage of the program to reach their goals of business ownership. Many are now multi-unit owners.
To reward teamwork driven by great leadership and exceptional performance, Culver’s offers the Culver’s Crew Challenge. In this competition restaurants and team member performance are evaluated in the areas of quality, service, cleanliness, hospitality, community outreach as well as team member training and development. The first place team wins $50,000, while the runner-up teams receive $10,000 each. The ultimate goal with this Challenge is to deliver on the Culver’s mission that “Every Guest Who Chooses Culver’s Leaves Happy.”
