mactex – The TeX Live Mac distribution
MacTeX is a complete, easy-to-install TeX distribution for MacOS X on both PPC and Intel platforms. The .pkg file is an install package for Apple's installer. The mactex package contains all of TeX Live, with some GUI applications, and a recent version of Ghostscript. The basictex package contains a selected subset of packages, specified in TL's scheme-small.
Beware: the download is large (almost 3 Gbytes).
