I am looking out my window at a very wet, cold, grey day. Why does winter have to be so mean? This kind of day makes me want to stay inside, curl up, do a little crafting and make a big pot of homemade Vegan Chili. Craftster member white_lilyblossom shares her recipe for a quick and easy chili that will knock your socks off. You can add more spices for a bit more heat or make it as is for a more mild taste. You can use the leftovers (if there are any) for burritos and salads.
Comfort food is always a good thing. Our Cooking Board is the place for recipes, tips and inspiration. Try a new dish today. Happy Monday! |

This weekend, store your socks where you can find them with an organizer made from reused cardboard. rockingbearranch made this one the exact size of her drawer, so she’ll never have to paw through a jumble of socks again. She covered her organizer with scrapbook paper, so it’s not only functional; it’s pretty as well. |

Today is my pooch’s Adoptiversary, and I’ve spent the last few days making dogs toys for her. And I’m not alone in pampering my puppy, there are a ton of crafters that make a ton of fun pet-related projects on the pet crafts board. One I really need to make some of is this awesome paw balm by Onyxnox. While some dogs don’t love their paws being touched, they’ll love the soothing balm for a walk on cold (or hot) pavement! |
 |
Something pretty much all puppies love, though, is treats. Homemade dog treats are healthy and yummy, and in the case of the ones made by TheMistressT, supper adorably squirrel shaped! And bacon flavored… Yum! |
 |
Speaking of things dogs love, dinner is up there. And why not make their dining experience elegant, and, honestly, easier on them with a raised feeding platform? It’s healthier for big dogs, and is even easier on you (I like not having to lean down so far!). You could go the easy route and buy one, but that’s not the Craftster way! rackycoo even went the extra mile with a picnic themed tablecloth covering! |
 |
And, of course, what’s more needed for a pampered pooch than a deluxe pooch pillow? LittleLaura went the extra mile after finding a coordinating fabric and made her pooch a pillow with her likeness! |
However you choose to pamper your pets, share it over on the pet crafts board!.
