Charges against journalists covering inaguration protests must be dropped
Six journalists covering the inauguration protests in Washington DC have been charged with felony rioting, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and fines of up to $25,000. This is an unacceptable assault on press freedom and an act of intimidation against journalists just for doing their job. All charges must be dropped immediately.
