Abbiamo deciso di provare Atera, il costo al mese supera i 100€ ma il servizio è veramente buono, nonostante alcuni momenti di lentezza, ma non so se dipende da noi, stiamo cercando di capirlo. Riusciamo tenere sotto controllo i server dei clienti in tempo reale, inoltre riusciamo a connetterci da remoto.
Configurazione semplice
Aspetti positivi:
controllo da remoto, notifiche real time... riesci a tenere tutto sotto controllo in tempo reale. ottima gestione ticket, configurazione semplice e "veloce".
Aspetti negativi:
l'unico svantaggio potrebbe essere il prezzo poco accessibile a tutti, ma se si ha bisogno di questo tipo di software si sa che bisogna spendere. Inoltre a noi ogni tanto è lento.
Atera RMM
Commenti: Complessivamente mi ha risolto un sacco di problemi, e ridotto al minimo i tempi di intervento sui server.
Aspetti positivi:
Mi permette di tenere sotto controllo tutti i server dei clienti in tempo "quasi" reale. Raccoglie le informazioni delle ILO dei server, allertandomi rispetto a problematiche quali dischi i fault o predictive, temperature eccessive. Ottima la funzionalità che permette di raccogliere le info anche da altre apparecchiature tramite protocollo SNMP (ad es. NAS, Firewall di rete, Switch)
Aspetti negativi:
La lentezza con cui a volte si aggiornano i dati nell'app. Non sempre l'indicazione che un server ha bisogno di un riavvio rispecchia la realtà. A volte è solo in ritardo il pannello a mostrarti il cambio di stato.
Alternative considerate: SolarWinds Service Desk e NinjaOne

Strumento ottimo per la consulenza da remoto

E' stato uno strumento fondamentale per il lockdown dovuto al COVID-19.
Ha permesso di effettuare una ottima teleassistenza da remoto agli utenti che trovavano difficoltà.
Ci è stato utile per l'installazione di determinati software in maniera massiva senza il passaggio da ogni macchina presente.
Aspetti positivi:
La connettività a più ambienti. L'utilizzo fuori dalla rete aziendale e senza VPN. Creazione ottima per script automatici. Check ottimale per gli strumenti hardware per la nostra azienda.
Aspetti negativi:
Sarebbe stato ancora più utile se Atera permettesse di aggiungere dispositivi Android o Apple.
Atera is the clear winner in the IT management space
Commenti: Atera has been great to use here at our company. It used to be a challenge to support the environment and relied on outside consulting support. We have been able to bring things fully in-house and realize faster response times as well as 6 figure plus cost savings in the IT budget.

Atera was extremely easy to get setup and running in our environment. It provides easy visibility and management capability for all IT devices and issues.
Aspetti negativi:
Atera has a couple of areas where a few tweaks could be made to either the interface or some of the features to make them really polished. Full functionality is available in the product however, and they listen to user suggestions and requests. They have a strong community where users can suggest new features, provide feedback for issues they discover, and learn about upcoming enhancements.

Perché passare a Atera: Atera was the clear winner. It had the best feature set, most intuitive interface, and best value offering in licensing the product. The ongoing support and feature development promises continued enhancements to the product.
Atera Automated Patch management and Copilot has improved our efficiency and productivity

Excellent RMM and MSP software

1. Its a good software for remote access tools 2. It helps in simultaneous deployment of software across systems 3. It also has it very own mobile app which facilitates ease of access

1. The cost factor is not good looking at the features it provides 2. The customer service is not satisfied 3. There is no training material provided there should be something like live training sessions.
Atera - Great for the price!
Commenti: Its great! for the price it is really hard to beat. And they keep adding features every month.

We use it mostly as a remoting tool into other computers. And a few scripts here and there. the scripts are good. and for the price you cant beat it.

Sometimes the integration with spashtop for remoting is a little bit glitchy.

The best feature for us using Ater is the ease of use and the quick response chat feature, those two items have been the best part of using this solution by far compared to other competitors.

I would like Atera to have a free remote access software for staff and users it would eliminate another product and would allow us to only use Atera for everything when it comes to troubleshooting.
Perfect All in One Remote Support Solution

Aspetti positivi:
Perfect for remotely administrating a variety of different operating systems and systems. We are a fully cloud, remote camps with StarLink and work-from-home-based company and Atera helps our IT team tremendously to keep an overview of all running systems and clients. We use a variety of functionality from patch management, over remote monitoring to the general support help desk. And if something doesn't work as expected Atera's support is just a chat away to investigate and support. Implements well with various 3rd party solutions, from Cyber Security to Backup, etc. including a steep discount on these services compared to the regular pricing.
Aspetti negativi:
A lot of additional features have been moved from a free tier to a paid tier now including the very helpful new AI features. However, since the base pricing is already pretty low it is not a massive concern to have these packages added to our service.

Essential tools for onsite and remote IT

This is the second company I have been onsite IT for while using Atera.
- Good tools
- provides the majority of tools needed for systems monitoring and support.
Aspetti positivi:
Available via browser, stays logged in until it times out. I can get to any system that the agent is installed on to assist end users and to check performance and status.
Aspetti negativi:
Wish there as a documentation tool, maybe there is and I don't have access per my access as a customer of an MSP. - Wish there was a way to see disk usage in the Metrics of each system, along with the CPU and Memory usage. - wish there were more useful scrips available.
Great, Especially for a 1-person IT Department
Commenti: Atera has been wonderful. I am so glad that our organization approved trying Atera. We will be going from month-to-month to an annual subscription soon.

Atera is a life-saver for a one-man IT department. They make it easy to onboard, and the free trial is nice. To get set-up they provide installation files or command line instructions for each OS. There is even an option to have a specific installer and command line instruction for each site. So, you run the command and that computer is instantly associated with that site. I do recommend that you give the computer a descriptive, but short, PC name, so that it is easy to locate the right device in the Atera system after onboarding. The app is great, and even allows me to remote in to devices from my phone or tablet. When I have been stumped on how to perform an action or set something up in Atera, they have a chat support feature that is easy to use, and is quick to get a live agent to assist. I use Atera every day, and it saves me time, and dramatically reduces the need to go out on-site. I set it up on about 200 devices spread over 175 miles in less than 2 weeks. I then trained the users on it, and we have been using it since.
Aspetti negativi:
The only two things I dislike about Atera is that it is hard to find daytime (to me) appointments with demo and onboarding agents, and it doesn't pull in longer device names from the device's OS. Most of the demo and onboarding agents are based in Israel, I believe, so the timing is hard when living in the US. There are some 7 am appointments that I was able to find, however, so it worked out.
Alternative considerate: NinjaOne
Perché passare a Atera: Atera's pay-per-technician pricing just made sense for us. They don't nickel-and-dime either. NinjaOne, by contrast, was over twice as expensive to start out, but they wanted to charge extra just for a ticketing system and many other things.

Commenti: Particular experience remotely viewing the resources of the software we develop has been very good, it has complete report management, it also has the ease of controlling the software remotely and it has a good quality of compatibility with third-party documents.

I like that through its RMM functionality, Atera allows you to monitor and manage computer systems remotely. This can be useful for keeping servers and other infrastructure resources in good working order, which is crucial for software development.
Aspetti negativi:
I think that its internal antivirus is not the most beneficial and best enough to meet the requirements of what my team needs. In this sense, I think that Atera is doing its part in security, it has not issued threat alerts when we needed it.
Makes IT management easier at a great price

Atera's dashboard is intuitive and provides insights into the systems we manage, making remote access and troubleshooting tasks easy for us. The pricing model, which is per technician and not per endpoint, is a major plus for cost control.
Aspetti negativi:
The reporting and analytics module should have been more flexible. Customizing reports to fit specific needs, such as for executive summaries is a bit of a hassle.

Perché passare a Atera: It is cheaper compared to other ITSM tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, etc. Features are complete and the support team are always reachable and helpful.
Amazing product that is growing and evolving
Commenti: The product is an amazing value and allows a single or multiple users to act as a larger team. Support is there if you need them.
Aspetti positivi:
The support team and access is amazing, they always have what you need. The shared libraries for scripts and SNMP templates are a huge time saver. (make sure to vet the scripts yourself) The AI features are more than a gimmick and can be a huge time saver if used properly. The developers are listening and adding requested features.
Aspetti negativi:
The inability to add a user to multiple devices is a real headache for me. The time tracking interface is a bit lacking compared to other larger vendors.

Overall I am happy with Atera for Immediate remote assistance.
It happens a lot of times where some changes could not be pushed through Windows GPO or Intune, in those cases this is the last stable option to push changes to client machines, in many cases this has been a lifesaver for me specially when existing PAM solution fails!

I work in our organization managing Products and Platforms on employees machines. Atera is the platform I use to take remote into the target machines and to push Automation scripts once approved by management. I have never had any issue with Atera till date. The most I like is the UI stable and simple.
Aspetti negativi:
Sometimes the remote session fails, sometimes, I have to login twice I don't know the reason why and it doesn't hinder me much. Also, sometimes the reporting shows wrong or gets updated late, like If I check the total remote into a machine happened, it shows incorrect info which sometimes get updated later.

It's easy to use and user-friendly. Especially, ticket management is very good with AI.

The plugins are a bit expensive. Maybe they could be cheaper.
The only tool I need to manage IT assets and system administration
Aspetti positivi:
Atera completes all IT and systems management points, from flawless remote access for both Windows and Mac. In particular, it is excellent for connecting to external servers (VPS) and having control over the status and executing tasks manually or even automating . I was very surprised by what Atera covers in terms of features that adapt to any business.
Aspetti negativi:
It is an excellent tool, however, only for medium and large companies given the level of computer knowledge that you need to have to use it, It would be great to see a total reports generated as well as per user and more, the cost is also high, but it worh it.
