In the past I tested out two different types of softwares to use for my appointment setting for my business. I use Google Calendar and I also use Calendly. Both were nice options, they're both have a lot of good free benefits and resources, but I found for my business they didn't create the brand that I wanted to represent. They weren't as robust and user friendly for my clients. And I really like the interface that you get with Setmore, I feel like it draws more people into your business and sets you apart from just the basic tools.
What I really enjoy about using Setmore for my calendar for my business is the fact there's so many functions that allow you to connect with your audience and help your clients move through the process from becoming a prospect to a client. There's everything from social media integration. There's a bio section so they can learn about you. Clients can leave reviews. There's a robust interface that allows you to put different types of services that are offered even with different coaches. If I have another person in my business, which I've had in the past, that comes in and out and works with me, we have separate calendars that will sync together and allow you to coordinate your schedule in a very efficient manner. So those were a couple things I really enjoyed about it, and again, I just really love the look of the interface. I feel that it's like looking at a Lamborghini versus a Pinto. You just see it when you look at it.
What I really enjoyed about Setmore is the setup is super easy. It's very intuitive and user friendly, both as the person designing it knowing the company and as the client who's going to be using it. Very simple to follow through. When I set up, you just choose your services, choose the calendar you'd like for them to go on, the time of day and the service provider and you're done. Very simple interface. It also integrates and syncs brilliantly with your smartphone. So really it's a one, two, three setup, and you're ready to go.
So if you're considering changing or adding a calendar to your business to help you monitor and manage your schedule, I highly suggest Setmore. Some great things about it. Again, very robust interface. I suggest if you're a business owner, you want to develop your brand it's great to get in there. There's a lot of tools that allow a person who comes to your website or your calendar to really understand who you are and the value provide, which will help initiate and instigate them in taking action to becoming a prospect or a client with you. I would suggest going through and using every one of the tools they have, because it really helps build out your business and helps promote more traffic to your website.
In addition, one challenge I would warn people of is when you put a service in the services work across the whole schedule. So if you particularly have a service you only do a one day like sometimes plastic surgeons only do surgery on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when you schedule the service will go open for the whole week. So it's something to be aware of. It's the only hiccup in the entire system. But beyond that, it works brilliantly. I've been with them for probably over six years and it has helped increase my business and helped me consistently keep myself busy with new consultations all the time. So I highly suggest you test it out.

"Setmore for Business"
Overall: I've been able to generate my return of investment within the first month and not just that be able to give value to clients in documentation and also frequent meetings.
Pros: It's easy to program to the social media for your business or service to be able to allow clients to book time with you so you don't have to be there for them to do it.
Cons: I can't use a custom domain and sometimes it does interfere with my clients experience because they think I work for the company.
Alternatives Considered: WooCommerce and HubSpot Marketing Hub
Reasons for Choosing Setmore: Its use and lack of UI learning curve
Reasons for Switching to Setmore: The simplicity of the customer interface and my ability to add not just services and meetings but also courses if needed.

"I love that Setmore is so simple to use"
Overall: Setting up Setmore couldn't be easier because to its user-friendly UI. Client self-booking, automated appointments, and prompt customer service are three of my favorite aspects. For extra features, you can pay an additional fee or subscribe to a premium subscription.
Pros: My favorite thing about Setmore is how easy it is to use, yet filled with all the information I need to book the right appointments and services every time. Within the first month, I was able to create my return on investment and provide value to my clients via documentation and regular meetings.
Cons: Setmore's sole flaw is that it can occasionally crash. Occasionally, things don't save correctly and updates don't appear until hours later when you reenter the application. Setmore's only genuine flaws are these little hiccups in the system.

Reasons for Switching to Setmore: Overall, it's been a terrific and affordable tool to help me manage my business better, as I noted in my pros. It's simple to connect your company or service to social media so that people may book time with you without you having to be there.

"Good Product, but Indians cannot take payments"
Overall: It is great for scheduling.
Pros: Very easy to use and lots of options to create workshops as well as appointments.
Cons: The email sent to the customer can only be customised for ALL emails. So whether or not they sign up for a workshop or an individual session, they receive the same instructions, which makes this hard. Also if you want to recieve payments, you have to subscribe and that is super expensive, and also if you're an Indian, receiving payments from Indians is not an option unless they use credit cards only (since you can use stripe).
Alternatives Considered: Calendly and Acuity Scheduling
Reasons for Choosing Setmore: the flexibility in slots, the capacity to create individual as well as group appointments.

"A good, easy to use program, well-priced, but with a lot of unusual glitches"
Overall: We love the features, we love the pricing...but we find that there are a lot of glitches going on that make our business look unprofessional. As a medical office, its important for us to appear professional...and Setmore has let us down on this front quite a few times.
Asking questions or lodging complaints with the company is tricky, as they're always dodging blame. Its always possible to 'chat' with a consultant, but I think English isn't always their first language, making some communication tricky.
That said, the main part of the program works well...but be prepared for some odd glitches occasionally - like clients sometimes being able to book outside of your booking hours (which they tell me isn't possible...yet its happening), or SMS reminders just not being sent (even if the system says they were). Another time, a client managed to log in as an administrator and somehow set herself up as another practitioner....that was odd too. But according to Setmore, we did that ourselves and she couldn't possibly have done it (they said as they deleted her practitioner profile).
Most of our clients find the Setmore online booking website easy to use, but don't bother trying to set up a lead time for appointments...I don't know why, but even when they changed it from 2 days to 24 hours, it still wouldn't allow clients to have the lead time we wanted (i.e. the amount of time required to book an appointment online so we didn't end up with any surprise appointments).
Also, be prepared to constantly sync your duplicate clients in your database...it is incredibly annoying and time-consuming.
In addition, the recurring appointment feature had to be disabled on our account, as if clients wanted to edit one appointment in a series, we would have to search back to find the original appointment in the recurring series, delete or change that one...and THEN edit every single appointment from then on (it sometimes was weeks or months of edits to be made for one appointment to be changed), so we no longer use that feature.
The widget to link through to our Wix website however is very handy, and they are trialing features such as 'classes' and Stripe payments. We cant comment on how the payments feature functions, as we don't use it.
Pros: Ease of use.
Even technologically-challenged clients do not find it daunting to book online.
Configurations for appointment times, and setting individual practitioner shifts are really flexible.
SMS reminders included in the price - fantastic.
Customised SMS reminders are a wonderful bonus.
Widget to link a booking page to our website is great.
Cons: Glitchy.
Communication...good but challenging.
SMS reminders sometimes don't get sent.
Recurring appointment feature does not work for our business.
Duplicate customers are constantly being created, and syncing them takes time.
Recommendations to other buyers: Great for small businesses. This program represents value for money - despite the glitches I described above.
