Airtable is your software "joker"! It offers almost unlimited functionality.

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: I am very happy with Airtable, but still very often very overwhelmed by the countless possibilities.

Pros:

Airtable is your software "joker". We use Airtable as a multifunctional platform for several use cases - project management, user research, database management and so many more - the software offers just as many functionalities as your creativity allows. In our case, by integrating Airtable with Zapier, Google Sheets, customer.io and some other tools, we have created our own low-code no-code referral system and tracked user referrals in its real-time database. I furthermore heavily use Airtable as a database and survey provider for user interviews.

Cons:

The multiple functionalities can be overwhelming. You need to have a clear plan, how your solution should look like when you start building it, as Airtable is not great with "ready to use" functionalities. Of course you can use the free templates, but in most cases you want to use Airtable when you have a specific problem in mind you want to solve. Then, you need to customize the template to create your solution in Airtable. Also when integrating other software via connectors, such as Zapier, the possibilities of miscommunication between the tools rises, which caused me multiple hours bug and problem fixing.

Airtable is my new bestie. (Nonprofit)

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: The interface is beautiful, user friendly, and with the incredible variety of field types, powerful views and filters, you can accomplish almost anything in here. I used Sharepoint Lists and Microsoft Flow at a previous organization, and this is a million times better. What a beautiful piece of tech!

Pros:

This software is incredibly powerful, and once you get the hang of it, pretty simple to use. We are so grateful for the nonprofit discount, which makes it affordable for our organization. We're using it to manage grant applications and awards in tandem with other software such as Typeform, Gmail, Google Drive, and Slack. It has many powerful built in automation capabilities, and works very well with Zapier for even more power.

Cons:

Airtable can take some effort and training to learn and master, in order to use it to it's maximum capacity.

Flexible yet powerful

Comments: Airtable was a great system to start until our needs grew more medical and we needed a HIPPA compliant solution.

Pros:

Airtable is a flexible system with many great features to keep your data organized and make changes. The ability to make multiple views makes it easy to see, organize and edit your information.

Cons:

Airtable is not HIPPA compliant, which made it unusable for our needs. Also, the mobile app was not reliable.

The Backbone Of Our Inventory And Recurring IT Expense Tracking

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: The problem of tracking our computer assets and which user is using the device has been solved. We change hands for our devices very frequently so this has helped us to easily change an assigned user for a device at a moment's notice. Also we are able to improve on our inventory being able to easily capture serial numbers by scanning hardware and taking photos to correctly identify devices.

Pros:

The flexibility to add data from multiple devices and also multiple persons at the the same time.We used AirTable mainly for our Inventory tracking which is very dynamic as most of our assets change hands frequently so we can easily update who is assigned what device and for our recurring IT expenses we are able to easily track every recurring expense and see at any time the total expense for the month.

Cons:

We have been using Airtable for over two years and to date we do not have any feature missing. Our experience has been very favorable.

Seamless project management capabilities through a very interactive UX

4.0 last month New

Comments: No qualms with the product - way better than Notion that we used for a similar use case but did not find as useful for our organisation. Great pricing and UX make for a rewarding user experience.

Pros:

The UX provided by the platofrm is so seamless and easy to use that we have not seen such functionality even in an excel. We use it for colour coding, table creation and quick views that they provide that we have not seen across a host of other products in the market so far. We are aiming to continue using this product for managing tasks within teams. Their customer support is also decently responsive unlike other tools and has been helping out in selecting and launching appropriate plans.

Cons:

I feel like the tool lacks the copy paste functionality and excel shortcuts and if there are similar shortucts as excel, the migration to a tool like this will be much simpler
