IK KRIJG HET EUROTEKEN NIET OP MIJN TOETENBORD K480.
Ik heb Windows 10
Ook via alt 0128 of alt128 krijg ik geen euroteken.
Wat moet ik doen ?
Need to use alt 0128. alt 128 gives wrong character.
I find it easier to paste into Sticky Notes once located in Windows 10
Guys, you can leave the 0 out of the 0128.
So just hold ALT 128
These Alt codes does not work in Libre Office... coz I am using Fedora 23 64 bit...
I really appreciate for the answer but I think I might use Insert-Special Character-(in dropdown) Currency Symbols...
In Win 10, when no numeric keyboard (e.g., Microsoft Surface Pro 4) and with US English keyboard layout:
1) In settings, Time and Language> Region & language> Additional date, time, and regional settings (gets you to Control Panel> Clock, Language, and Region), Choose Language> Change input methods.
2) To the right of English (United States) choose Options
3) Choose Input method> Add an input method
4) Choose QWERTY United Stages International Touch Keyboard Layout and choose Add.
5) On Taskbar, if necessary right click on empty spot and choose Show Touch Keyboard button -- it will appear on right side of Taskbar beside time and date.
6) Choose that button on Taskbar -- keyboard will pop on screen.
7) Choose keyboard symbol in lower-right corner and select Eng Intl.
8) On that on-screen keyboard, choose AltGr -- the Alt button to the right of the space bar. It will light up in blue.
9) On the top row of that keyboard, you'll see the Euro symbol where the "5" and "%" used to be. Choose it, and you just typed the Euro symbol.
10) You'll probably want to go back to step 7 and choose Eng US, or you may have problems typing quotation marks and other symbols.
Many steps, but once it's set up, you only use steps 6-10, which go very fast.
On a Mac, just press and hold down the sift and option keys and then tap the number 2 on the top row. That will give you €.
When using the numeric keypad, be sure it is in Num-lock state (not arrow), or some alt keys will result in navigation! Alt-0128 (€) works fine in Windows 7 English, even in file names!
ALT 0128. Took me a while but it works. You have to use the number pad on the R side of the keyboard - NOT the numbers in the top row.
Must have numberical key pad for windows codes
Thanks! Holding the left-alt while pressing 0128 on my keypad worked!
Here's the windows 8.1 solution, for those without a number pad and working outside windows, eg., in gmail: use the search charm to find character map app. Locate the euro symbol in your font of choice - note, it may not exist in each font. (I happen to use veradana). Copy and paste. Not perfect, but for intermittent use, it is useful.
On Windows 7 laptop, as Thanos said, left ALT + Fn + 0128 using greyed keyboard numbers (m j k 8 on my keyboard) works.
alt 8364 makes the Euro sign for me
How is on mac-computer?? (alt +0128 doesn't work)
Works on Windows 8.1 using numpad and left alt
works for me on Windows 7
the alt+0128 / alt+128 do not work anymoar on windows 7
the alt- codes only work if you input the numbers using a keypad. if you don't have a keypad, you can look for the character map (if it's not listed under "Utilities", you should be able to find it in the 'Windows\System32 file folder - it's called "charmap.exe"). you can use the character map to fine the symbol you want, and copy/paste it in lieu of using the alt- codes. obviously the character map is on Windows machines - I have no idea about Macs.
hope that helps.
Ive tried a lot of things they say but they do not work......P.S.i don't have a numeric keypad is that what is wrong?
HP Probook 4420s windows 7= atl+0128 didnt work
Make Indian Rupee sign plssssss
i have a laptop that no works all that symbols
On laptop use Alt and Fn key
Use the numbers on the main keyboard
to be more specific, the Alt + 0128 is not coming out in my MS excel 2010. It's functioning in MS Word but NOT in MS Excel. Had I dis-enable anything that this key is no longer working?
why my computer can't make the euro sign? It used to be ok till lately... ...can it be lost?
Angelika your laptop has a key called Fn press that and use the numbers writen on K, O etc to create a Numpad.

From Canada.
I would've recommend you to also add this on the French alt code section since it is essencial to know it if you are writing in that language.
Thanx So Much!
