Creating an Airbnb account is free and easy. To sign up, visit Airbnb.com, or download the Airbnb app from the App Store or Google Play.

Multiple ways to sign up for an account

You can sign up for an new account on desktop or mobile browser, or in the Airbnb app using any of the following criteria:

• Email address
• Phone number
• Facebook or Google account
• Apple ID
• Naver (for South Korea)

What’s required before you book a trip

After you sign up, we’ll need a bit more info before you’ll be able to book a stay or an Experience, so be sure to complete your account setup.

What’s required before you can host

You’ll need to verify your identity before you can get started hosting. Every community member is required to go through this process.

If you already have another account

If you have more than one Airbnb account, you unfortunately can’t merge accounts. However, you can delete or deactivate the account you use the least. Learn more about what to do if you have multiple accounts.
