    UPDATE!! Former L.A. Times publisher, Davan Maharaj, thru attorney: "We reject any assertion that Davan received any payments to keep information secret." Maharaj reportedly recorded former Tronc Chair Michael Ferro allegedly making anti-Semitic remarks.

    It’s important to step back and think about how stunning this is. The lawyer for the president is going to jail. With all the chaos swirling around the White House for the last two years, it’s easy to forget how remarkable that is.

    CBS News has paid an undisclosed amount to settle a lawsuit filed by plaintiffs alleging that Charlie Rose harassed them and that the network was “fully aware” of his conduct. The claims against Rose as an individual are ongoing.
