    "Any software installed in Windows Sandbox stays only in the sandbox and cannot affect your host. Once Windows Sandbox is closed, all the software with all its files and state are permanently deleted." Useful for testing new applications, probably.

    This is a really cool feature that I've been using for months and love, really awesome use case for the hyper-v containers. :)

    Hmm this might just work as otherwise I keep forgetting to have lunch till it's too late...

    Take an hour lunch everyday. Especially remote working its easy to forget lunch (no social cues to go to lunch). Take a full hour. Its not just about eating, its about taking a break. I block off an hour every day for lunch and everyone knows I take it *very* seriously.

    This is what web pages look like now. I fear the web is just broken. To be nice to the world, I turned off my ad blocker, but now when I'm reading a page it just reformats sporadically as the ads update, which just renders the experience painful.

    It is also what old rust did back when it had compiler supported local GC and green threads. Common technique. Generally all such systems boil down to injecting/marking safe points. But it’s interesting to see it re-emerge in new coarser-grained and user-extensible clothing here!

    Her idea was that a GC in Rust can use a futures-like API, and the space between polls is where gc pauses can happen. It didn't use async yet but it could do something like that in the future. see (the overall gc design here is very cool, check it out)
