Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Approximately half of the Republican delegates needed to be nominated will be allocated, and a third of the democratic delegates.

The video starts off with a brief explanation of what Super Tuesday is. I then detail the motivation behind the creation of Super Tuesday, and the fight to gain influence away from Iowa and New Hampshire. I talk about the 1988 Super Tuesday event, along with the 2008 so-called 'Tsunami Tuesday'.
The second half of the video focuses on candidates who have recieved a boost over the years as a result of super tuesday. Bill Clinton, Bob Dole, Michael Dukakis, Barack Obama: all these candidates got one step closer to the Republican/Democratic nomination because of their success on Super Tuesday.
Will 2016's Super Tuesday cement the front-runner status of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton? Can Sanders pull of a Super Tuesday surprise? I don't predict that in this video, but after watching the significance of the SEC Primary (Super Tuesday) should be obvious.

Donald Trump
Donald John Trump, Sr. (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessperson and media personality. He is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. Trump's career, branding efforts, personal life, wealth, and outspoken manner have made him famous throughout the country. The video starts off with a brief explanation of what Super Tuesday is. I then detail the motivation behind the creation of Super Tuesday, and the fight to gain influence away from Iowa and New Hampshire. I talk about the 1988 Super Tuesday event, along with the 2008 so-called 'Tsunami Tuesday'.
The second half of the video focuses on candidates who have recieved a boost over the years as a result of super tuesday. Bill Clinton, Bob Dole, Michael Dukakis, Barack Obama: all these candidates got one step closer to the Republican/Democratic nomination because of their success on Super Tuesday.
Will 2016's Super Tuesday cement the front-runner status of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton? Can Sanders pull of a Super Tuesday surprise? I don't predict that in this video, but after watching the significance of the SEC Primary (Super Tuesday) should be obvious.

From wikipedia: In the United States, Super Tuesday, in general, refers informally to one or more Tuesdays early in a United States presidential primary season when the greatest number of states hold primary elections. The Tuesday is in either February or March of a presidential election year. In 2016, Super Tuesday will be March 1. More delegates to United States presidential nominating conventions can be won on Super Tuesday than on any other single day of the primary calendar. Candidates seeking the presidency traditionally must do well on this day to secure their party's nomination.
The particular states holding primaries on Super Tuesday have varied from year to year since each U.S. State decides separately. Some years have had more than one Super Tuesday. In 2008, Super Tuesday was February 5 when 24 states held primaries or caucuses on this date, with 52% of all pledged Democratic Party delegates and 49% of the total Republican Party delegates at stake.[1]
The phrase "Super Tuesday"[2] has been used to refer to presidential primary elections since at least 1976.[3] It is an unofficial term used by journalists and political pundits. In 2016, this date has been dubbed the "SEC Primary" since many of the participating states are represented in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), a U.S. college athletics league.
Since Super Tuesday primaries are typically held in a large number of states from geographically and socially diverse regions of the country, Super Tuesday typically represents a presidential candidate's first test of national electability. Convincing wins in Super Tuesday primaries have usually propelled candidates to their party's nomination.
Tuesday is the traditional day for elections in the United States. For instance, the main election day in the United States is always a Tuesday in November.

This video will explain the history of Super Tuesday and why it is so important. Consider this your guide to understanding this critical part of the US Primary election. For 2016, candidates like Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, and Marco Rubio will face off in 13 different states, in what is being dubbed the SEC Primary. Approximately half of the Republican delegates needed to be nominated will be allocated, and a third of the democratic delegates.

The video starts off with a brief explanation of what Super Tuesday is. I then detail the motivation behind the creation of Super Tuesday, and the fight to gain influence away from Iowa and New Hampshire. I talk about the 1988 Super Tuesday event, along with the 2008 so-called 'Tsunami Tuesday'.
The second half of the video focuses on candidates who have recieved a boost over the years as a result of super tuesday. Bill Clinton, Bob Dole, Michael Dukakis, Barack Obama: all these candidates got one step closer to the Republican/Democratic nomination because of their success on Super Tuesday.
Will 2016's Super Tuesday cement the front-runner status of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton? Can Sanders pull of a Super Tuesday surprise? I don't predict that in this video, but after watching the significance of the SEC Primary (Super Tuesday) should be obvious.

From wikipedia: In the United States, Super Tuesday, in general, refers informally to one or more Tuesdays early in a United States presidential primary season when the greatest number of states hold primary elections. The Tuesday is in either February or March of a presidential election year. In 2016, Super Tuesday will be March 1. More delegates to United States presidential nominating conventions can be won on Super Tuesday than on any other single day of the primary calendar. Candidates seeking the presidency traditionally must do well on this day to secure their party's nomination.
The particular states holding primaries on Super Tuesday have varied from year to year since each U.S. State decides separately. Some years have had more than one Super Tuesday. In 2008, Super Tuesday was February 5 when 24 states held primaries or caucuses on this date, with 52% of all pledged Democratic Party delegates and 49% of the total Republican Party delegates at stake.[1]
The phrase "Super Tuesday"[2] has been used to refer to presidential primary elections since at least 1976.[3] It is an unofficial term used by journalists and political pundits. In 2016, this date has been dubbed the "SEC Primary" since many of the participating states are represented in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), a U.S. college athletics league.
Since Super Tuesday primaries are typically held in a large number of states from geographically and socially diverse regions of the country, Super Tuesday typically represents a presidential candidate's first test of national electability. Convincing wins in Super Tuesday primaries have usually propelled candidates to their party's nomination.
Tuesday is the traditional day for elections in the United States. For instance, the main election day in the United States is always a Tuesday in November.
