'Very expensive eggs': Some Boston-area restaurants feel effects of bird flu on egg supplies

Massachusetts restaurants have been feeling the pinch from egg shortages caused by bird flu outbreaks. Millions of egg-laying hens have been culled across the country because of the virus. This, coupled with rising demand from customers, has lowered the supply of eggs and increased prices.
