Sylvester Miller II's agricultural roots and heritage farming date back to slavery, when his ancestors cultivated land in Helena, Arkansas. For him, his family’s legacy makes him proud, both professionally and personally. Today, Miller continues to farm, helps manage an agricultural science company and supports students from underrepresented groups pursue degrees in agriculture and related fields.
