    2018 prediction: Bitcoin and LN together will be the cheapest, fastest and most secure SoV and MoE. But businesses/people won't use it because they are manipulated, evil, lazy or plain stupid. And that is the only reason Bitcoin fees are still high, and thus LN unusable. /s

    But somehow we weren't right, it's all CoinBase fault, and specifically from the day CoinBase supported Bitcoin Cash. Which again, proofs our point that a hardfork is easier to implement (its a drop-in replacement).

    Instead of moving the goalposts, you make them fuzzy. What a smart idea Jameson! Lightning is rolled out and it is not rolled out at the same time.

    Q: When will the Lightning Network be rolled out? A: The rollout has already begun. This is an iterative distributed learning process; it's unlikely there will be a single point in time at which we say LN is "deployed" because it will grow organically. Software is never finished.

    A) Is Bitcoin secured through a sliding scale of decentralisation and its resistance to change? More decentralisation always means more security. OR B) Is Bitcoin secured through incentives and cost of attack vs. potential gains? A less decentralised coin can be more secure.

    What are low-value transactions? Next year fees will go to >$100 to $1000. There will be no low value transactions left to move. No by my definition of 'low value' at least. Bitcoin shot it self in the legs in the hopes of maybe getting bionic legs to win a race yesterday.
