@nolanlawson @staktrace tells me e10s might have been off because you were using a touch-enabled device. Fixed in Fx52 (in 32 bit builds).

@nolanlawson Good post! Your Firefox/Win probably had e10s disabled for some reason (check about:support). With e10s it'll have APZ, too.

@wanderview @eroc @cpeterso On Windows we accelerate both, Chrome only compositing. Maybe the difference is due to not measuring GPU memory?

@meyerweb @SaraSoueidan I'm currently playing with <svg viewbox> embedded as an <image> inside a <mask>, but not having much luck.

@meyerweb @SaraSoueidan Yes. You could wrap your existing elements inside a <g transform> to scale them down to 0..1. Not pretty though.

@meyerweb @SaraSoueidan Don't think so, unfortunately. Maybe with a nested <svg> inside the clipPath and viewbox on it? Not sure if allowed
