I'm only expecting them to deprecate Java. More simple than doing it by part, step by step. After for the existing industry support... The usual Oracle mess (there is so much history with them and #opensource that I've stopped counting...)
Dear @OpenJDK / @mreinhold can you please stop removing things from Java? Since Java 11 has begun all of the features we use disappear one by one:
Java WebStart
JavaFX
Java EE APIs
public JRE
Nashorn JavaScript engine
next ? AWT/Swing?

PS: I don't use Java. I can't imagine a Java developer viewpoint when their project depends from a language that goes the opposite of the project requirements.
