    All in all - using HackerRank was a win. Probably a combination of related questions + a cool riddle would be the best mix for everyone. >>>

    The second one was hosted by , which used HackerRank (which worked great!) for running the contest. Their riddles were more related to what they're actually working on (DNA stuff) >>>

    First one was hosted by - they got what appeared to be a custom Python sand box and 3 nice riddles about encryption, primes and an ascii art code golf - … but their platform was a buggy which made the experience a bit frustrating. >>>
