    I'm neither Democrat not Republican, so this isn't partisan. It's just increasingly looking like the future of the Democratic Party is the Squad, not the old guard. And that is worrying.

    I don't envy Nancy. Her window for solving this problem is shrinking rapidly. One other point: Dem #3 is wonderfully honest, pointing out the hypocrisy in failing to condemn multiple antisemitic Sauad comments yet jumping on Trump. I'm Israeli, and a Jew. It's noticeable.

    And yes, the Squad's antics play to Trump's wrestling heel political approach perfectly. Dems not acting (and no, whining while anonymous isn't acting) will only cost them. Pelosi may have frozen them from Dem Congress, but they're populist activists. And that's an end around.

    Reading this is illuminating. The "Squad" is either running rings around Pelosi, or there's a perception by Ds that speaking against the Squad is going to ruin them. If the latter is true, the Dems will be The Socialist Jew Haters of America within a year (& Pelosi will be gone)

    House Democrats appeared unified in their votes this week but I've spent the day talking to a bunch of them and many are extremely frustrated. All agree POTUS's tweets needed to be condemned; they spoke under condition of anonymity so they could be candid. (Thread)
