    The share of Haredi women employed in education has declined from about 60% since the beginning of the millennium to about 45%. The decline indicates a gradual process of employment diversification.

    Israel recently launched a credit database. According to our research, it may exclude households w/ weak repayment ability. On the other hand, it may assist credit providers in assessing borrowers & reduce interest rates for those w/ high credit ratings.

    Wages in Israel rose in 2018 at high rates compared to those of the previous year. This was in addition to the rapid increase in real wages that has taken place since 2014 — an overall increase of 11%.
