I really can't stand this nonsensical blather. Pretending to be worried about discriminating against specific groups of immigrants while being A-OK with removing the rights of another group of immigrants makes you look silly - and, oh, DISCRIMINATORY.
-
-
-
Who is OK with removing rights?
-
The UK is currently removing your rights and those of Brits in the EU by docking freedom of movement, because if FOM ends, it ends for Brits as much as everyone else on the continent.
-
But it doesn't have to. That is what the UK government is choosing to do, and I abhor it. I support FOM. I want it extended.
-
Excuse me? You want FoM extended and you're supporting Diane Abbott's speech? That's like me saying, 'I love immigrants, but I'm supporting Trump.'
-
Excused.

Checkmate.

Pity you're playing draughts...

According to your definition, the UK law is discriminatory too. Discriminates between UK and non-UK citizens. Hence what???
-
UK law is discriminatory.
-
ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಲಭ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ
-
So UK law doesn't discriminate?
-
No it doesn’t. Because Brits are EU citizens, with equal rights, but if you want to give those rights to Pakistanis or Australians, the UK could but then you’d have to expect Pakistan & Australia to apply the same arrangements, otherwise it would be discriminatory.

It’s always been up to us if we choose to give non EU citizens more or fewer rights than EU citizens. In fact in some instances we do give non EU citizens more rights than EU citizens For instance with Commonwealth citizens who were able to vote in the referendum. Our choice.
-
I would also remind you (again) than non EU immigration, despite out capacity to reduce it if we had chosen to (given we DO have control of our laws, our borders and are sovereign) has always exceeded EU immigration. A big puzzle that. It has always been up to us.
-
Another reminder too. In terms of being productive in net contribution to the public purse EU citizens exceed both U.K. born citizens and non EU immigrants. SO. Your assertion doesn’t really hold much water does it?

Amazing. Just making it up as you go, huh? No one, I repeat NO ONE, is telling the UK how to treat its non-EU immigrants. If you want to roll out 25 red carpets per non-EUimmigrant and put them up in a golden palace with a diamond fountain, you can. The EU ain't stopping you.

EU has no power over individual member states who wanted to and retain their own immigration policy over their own citizens. EU FoM only takes effect when member states' citizens exercise their rights by moving to another member state (then retain them if return to home nation)
-
2/ EU allows citizens exercising free movement to marry whoever they wish, of any nationality, without impediment/limitations (they inherit these FoM rights while married to the EU citizen) 3/ Many Brits have utilised these rights to legally avoid UK hostile immigration
-
..policy normally by moving to IRE (any other EU/EEA nation) then returning to UK (Surinder Singh
@BritCits@StevePeers@ColinYeo1 ) TM has always resented this 4/ There is nothing to stop individual member states matching these rights or surpassing them to other non EU citiz -
5/ ( i.e. member states inc UK have total control over any 'discrimination' )
