Bob Hawke was a great Australian who led and served our country with passion, courage, and an intellectual horsepower that made our country stronger. He was true to his beliefs in the Labor tradition and defined the politics of his generation and beyond.
He had a unique ability to speak to all Australians and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Bob’s widow Blanche and his family. May he Rest In Peace.
My thoughts are with his long suffering departed wife Hazel, who,he dumped for some floozy Blanche when diagnosed with alzhiemers. What a gem of a husband....NOT

I've just heard the PM speak on National TV about Bob Hawke and I must say that his eloquent speach made mince meat of Bill Shortens speech. Wow, for a former Labor PM, to have a pronounced influence in a Liberal PM, is just astounding. Vale Bob Hawke, & God bless Scott Morrison.
