    Hafez Omar - the brilliant designer and activist - is still in Israeli prison.

    Our friend and colleague, Hafez Omar, has been in Israeli detention since March 13th. His lawyers report he's undergoing long interrogations "about his artworks & publications on social media, especially those in support of rights of Palestinian prisoners"

    Do you remember A'ed Abu-Amro? After this image was taken he was shot by Israeli snipers. He needs surgery and pain meds. I've checked this fund-raiser as best as I can and have confirmed with A'ed that it is indeed for him. Please contribute if you can.

    I just finished This is Not a Border: Reportage & Reflection from the Palestine Festival of Literature. It’s a collection of essays from some of the world’s best writers about their experiences at this unique literary festival. I can’t recommend this book highly enough.
