    Biggest indicator of the physical toll the term takes on me: all term my nails constantly split and break. Two weeks on holidays and they acceptable enough to paint. What differences do you notice in yourself during term v holidays?

    Interesting idea! Easy to blame teachers and schools; go to any cafe and it’s the adults lost in their devices more than kids/teens. Would expect more robust and balanced journalism from the normally exceptional

    Bit disappointed by some of the ‘teacher bashing’ in this pod. The horse bolted on Ss bringing smartphones long before we implemented BYOD. BYOD provides an opportunity to model & talk to Ss and Ps about safe responsible device use & addiction

    Yes! 🙌🏻 I see this with my own kids. Everything is made a competition at such a young age. “our young people learn this addiction to grades from us, the adults. They don’t desire a mark or a grade for the mud pie they make and proudly display when they are 3. “

    Holiday Reading #1. Rubenhold states she found no evidence for 3/5 the victims working as prostitutes, despite how history remembers them. Would understand if they had been; this book is a stark reminder of how 💩 life was for Victorian women.
