It’s Halloween in our pocket-size Springfields! Yes that magical time of the year when our towns turn dark, our water becomes mucky and there are monsters everywhere to battle. And of course there are loads of new premium items in the store tempting us to spend sprinkles on.
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

Many of you have been reporting about issues you have getting into your game. It tells you that you’ve been logged out and then when you try to log back in it tells you there’s an error and you can’t get back into your game. (And Patric wrote about some issues over the weekend)
We’ve seen this before…just a few months ago. And it impacted a certain segment of the TSTO Server. EA is aware of this too…in fact last week they made a post on their TSTO Facebook Page to indicate what to do if you’re impacted:

Initially I didn’t think too much of it (which is why I didn’t post about their post over the weekend). As it’s happened before, and usually once EA is aware of it it’s resolved quickly.
However…it’s now becoming more widespread. I’m seeing loads more reports of the lock out happening. And in fact it just happened to me about 30 minutes ago. My game worked fine all day…and then all of a sudden I was locked out.
However, I was able to get back into my game, by following the reset password method. So I do recommend trying that.
It is concerning that it’s becoming more widespread, and hopefully EA can resolve the issue soon for everyone impacted.
And I know the question on everyone’s mind is….are they going to extend Halloween? At the moment, I don’t think it’s widespread enough to cause them to extend the event. It’s very rare that we see them extend an event unless nearly every player is impacted. So the best thing I can tell you to do is try resetting your password, or contacting EA to get back into your game as quickly as possible.

So seeing a number of questions in the comments asking which characters can Trick-or-Treat and which characters can battle Giant Monsters. So now that a new Act has launched, and new tasks have unlocked, I figured now’s the best time to lay down a comprehensive list.
So here’s the breakdown of kids who can Trick-or-Treat and Adults who can Battle Giant Monsters….

Our games have turned dark, the water is mucky and the trees have changed colors….it must be Halloween in Springfield!
The Halloween Event Act 3 arrived this morning and with it arrived, not only various monsters invading our pocket-sized Springfields, but a whole new questline to work our way through!
As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 runs until November 15th, and you’ll need Wiggum free to get things started with an 8hr task.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the third Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do get rid of those Monsters and help Lisa get into a good school (you know if she ever ages beyond 8)….
Well, it seems that Bunny had a few more tricks than treats, so I am jumping in to do the calendar again for Act III. Lots of hopping, and hoping for her return!
This month is going to be loaded with action, and loaded with all sorts of huge scary numbers…but in the end, we’ll all get what we deserve for our hard work, right? (and no…this isn’t a veiled election reference).

Welcome to the wee early morning hours…at least here on the East Coast. But who can sleep when there are monsters to battle?! Act 3 of the Halloween Event is upon us….so have at it my friends!
Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Lisa will start this for you with dialogue between her and Mayor Quimby. This will be followed by an 8hr task for Wiggum. Oh, and you will have to complete the Act 2 questline (up to, and including, Lost in La Mosntra Pt. 12). So if you didn’t complete it yet, you won’t see the new questline.
Act 3 runs until November 15th

We present to you TSTO Addicts’ Best THOH Segment Bracket Battle.
Below you’ll find all 81 beloved THOH segments that will have aired in the first 600 episodes of The Simpsons up to and including this seasons’ THOH XXVII. The segments have been organized into three conferences based on their sequential appearance in each THOH anthology: first, second, or third segment. The segments will battle each other in four rounds of head-to-head-to-head matchups, that we hope produce the most debate in the comments below. We’ll do our best to convince you of each segments’ merits, but it’s ultimately up to you. Twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays over the next three weeks, we’ll post the matchups and your votes over the next 48 hours will determine which segments advance to the next round, until we’ve crowned “The Best THOH Segment” on Monday October 31st.
