Our Professional Writing Agency Can Help With Your MLA Thesis Paper

Theses written for the liberal arts or humanities are most commonly formatted in the MLA style. This includes exact specifications as to the size of the physical paper that you use, the margins, the font and font sizing, the precise location of the page numbers, and the uniform layout of the title page. The MLA thesis citation format is just as strict, requiring rigorous adherence to particular rules concerning how to cite an authority on the topic and how to format the citation page. Incorrect use of the MLA thesis format in your paper may result in points taken off your grades.

What To Look Out For When Using The MLA Format For Thesis Writing

• Are you using the correct page layout and spacing / indentation / justification?
• Do you have an acceptable MLA thesis statement? (Note: a statement should be debatable, as you will spend the rest of the paper proving it. A bad example is: “Many people suffer from air pollution.” That’s not debatable, and your reader doesn’t need convincing. A better sentence would be: “It is the civil obligation of each and every citizen to contribute to a cleaner environment, even at the cost of higher prices on everyday necessities.”)
• Have you cited your sources correctly according to MLA specifications? For example, using brackets, page numbers, exact line spacing?
• Have you followed all the rules in your citations pages at the end? (alphabetical order, source’s last name followed by the first name, either underlined or italicized, but not both, etc.)
